Today 25th, June 2025, Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Budo-Egba, welcomed Amb. Dr. Prevail Farida O. Ahmed, the Founder and Global President of the Peace, Progress and Unity Global Initiative (PPUG), on a courtesy and collaborative visit.
The visit aimed to strengthen ties and explore avenues of collaboration under the initiative titled “Providing Direction and Support: Breaking the Silence, Mental Health Support for Our Protectors.” This project seeks to address the often-overlooked mental health challenges faced by security personnel and frontline responders.
Amb. Dr. Prevail F.O Ahmed was warmly received by the Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Issa Baba Awoye, who expressed the institution’s willingness to support initiatives geared towards advancing mental health awareness and access to care, especially among vulnerable populations.
