The Maternal and Child Care Unit of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Budo-Egba, reached a significant milestone with the successful delivery of its first baby on February 9, 2025, at 2:50 AM. Both mother and child are in excellent health following a smooth delivery, expertly managed by the hospital’s dedicated nursing team.

To commemorate this historic occasion, the Medical Director, Prof. Baba Awoye Issa, visited the family alongside senior hospital officials to extend his heartfelt congratulations. He offered prayers for the newborn and parents, expressing his joy over the safe delivery.
As a gesture of goodwill and in celebration of this achievement, the hospital management waived all medical fees for the family.
The baby’s father, Malam Muhammad Jamiu, from Kaa-Imale in Budo-Egba, expressed deep gratitude to the hospital staff, praising their professionalism, exceptional care, and dedication. He also prayed for the continued growth and success of FNPH Budo-Egba.
