The Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Budo-Egba, has further strengthened its capacity as a comprehensive healthcare institution with the successful completion of a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery procedure within its General Medical Services Department.
The surgery, done on 24 November 2025, involved the removal of damaged skin and the restoration of the affected area using healthy tissue through an advanced grafting technique. The procedure was carried out by skilled and dedicated surgical team.
This milestone marks another significant step in the hospital’s ongoing transformation from a solely psychiatric facility into a multi-specialty healthcare center offering a broad range of medical, maternity, surgical, rehabilitation, and emergency services.
